Innan jag tillträdde posten som professur i engelsk litteratur vid Lunds universitet i juli 2016, har min akademiska karriär tagit mig från National University of Ireland i Galway till universiteten i Cambridge, Glasgow, York, St. Mary's och Köpenhamn. Min forskning undersöker diverse aspekter av intellektuellt liv och kulturell historia i Storbritannien under sena 1700-talet och den 'romantiska' perioden.
Jag sitter i styrelsen för John Andréns Fond och Nordic Association for Romantic studies.
