Popular Abstract in Swedish I denna avhandling har jag studerat frisättning samt effekter av GABA i de Langerhanska öarna i bukspottskörteln. GABA är en välkänd signalmolekyl i hjärnan och man vet att den där har en hämmande effekt på hjärncellerna. Detta betyder att GABAs effekter i hjärnan ofta är lugnande och/eller sövande. A computational procedure has been developed to correlate the room fire test process and results from the proposed IS0 small scale laboratory tests.
