Cross-species infection of blood parasites between resident and migratory songbirds in Africa
We studied the phylogeny of avian haemosporidian parasites, Haemoproteus and Plasmodium, in a number of African resident and European migratory songbird species sampled during spring and autumn in northern Nigeria.
