Här finns en äldrehistorisk inriktning liksom en sedan länge etablerad stark filosofihistorisk tradition och en senare inriktning mot begreppshistoria. Genombrottet är LTHs gemensamma pedagogiska stöd- och utvecklingsenhet. Verksamheten omfattar bland annat behörighetsgivande pedagogisk fortbildning för LTHs anställda, pedagogisk konsultverksamhet, högskolepedagogisk forskning och pedagogisk meritvärdering.

En stor del av diabetesforskningen vid Lunds universitet görs inom forskningsmiljön EXODIAB som är ett strategiskt forskningsområde (SFO) i Sverige. Inom EXODIAB har Lunds universitets diabetescentrum (LUDC) och Uppsala universitet ett nära samarbete.A significant part of diabetes research at Lund University is conducted within EXODIAB, which is a strategic research area (SRA) in Sweden. Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancerformen hos kvinnor i Sverige, ca 8000 insjuknar och 1400 avlider i sjukdomen varje år. De flesta erhåller tilläggsbehandling efter operation. Men många är redan botade av operation och för 7-40% fungerar inte behandlingen som tänkt. Kroppsform, gener, och livsstil reglerar tillsammans kroppens hormoner, tillväxtfaktorer och inflammation, som i sin tur modulerar Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in Sweden, 8000 women are diagnosed annually and 1400 die of the disease. Most breast cancer patients receive adjuvant therap, but many are cured by surgery and for 7-40% the therapy doesn’t work as intended. Body size, genes, and lifestyle jointly regulate hormone and growth factors and inflammation that modulate risk and prognosis. Normal genetic
