The transition to a bioeconomy is dependent on transformative changes to technologies, organisations, and institutions, which jointly can be described as a socio-technical change. The thesis contributes to the understanding of how the transition is shaped by expectations on and collaborations for innovation forbiorefineries, which can produce chemicals, fuels, and materials needed in a bioeconomy.

Choir singing has been suspended in many countries during the Covid-19 pandemic due to incidental reports of disease transmission (Hamner et al. Citation2020). The mode of transmission has been attributed to exhaled droplets, but with the exception of a study on tuberculosis from 1968, there is presently almost no scientific evidence of increased particle emissions from singing (Loudon and RobertsChoir singing has been suspended in many countriesduring the Covid-19 pandemic due to incidental reportsof disease transmission.

Resourcification THEME 2019-2020 In a world of nearly 10 billion people, competition for the conditions of life and wealth can only accelerate. Our contention is that with such increasing competition, people and organizations will turn an increasing amount of material as well as immaterial things into resources – a process that we label resourcification.
