Kursen börjar med beskrivande statistik, population och stickprov, samt elementär sannolikhetslära och vanliga fördelningar. Vidare behandlas hypotesprövning och konfidensintervall, korrelation och regression, variansanalys, Chi-tvåtest och ickeparametriska metoder.
