Translationell cancerforskning bildades 2013 som en del av Lunds universitets cancercenter (LUCC) på Medicon Village. TCR består av nio grupper som arbetar med olika frågeställningar och tumörtyper, men med ett gemensamt mål att utveckla nya behandlingsmetoder. Traumatisk hjärnskada (THS) är en vanlig orsak till död och kvarstående handikapp och idag saknas effektiva behandlingar. Vår forskargrupp använder experimentella och kliniska tekniker att studera THS, från de allra svåraste skadorna till de mer milda skadorna som kan ses exempelvis efter hjärnskakning inom idrotten.
