Institutet för Ekonomisk forskning är det för ekonomiämnena gemensamma forskningsinstitutet och del av Ekonomihögskolan vid Lunds universitet.

Vår enhet bedriver forskning inom beroende av alkohol, narkotika, läkemedel, och inom spelberoende och andra icke-substansberoenden. Vår forskning har också ett uttalat fokus på samsjuklighet och andra problem med nära koppling till beroende, inkusive psykiatriska sjukdomar, kroppsliga sjukdomar, sociala problem och kriminalitet. Translationell cancerforskning bildades 2013 som en del av Lunds universitets cancercenter (LUCC) på Medicon Village.
