Kursernas omfattning anges med högskolepoäng (hp). Läsåret består av en höst- och vårtermin på 30 hp vardera. En termin delas i sin tur upp i fyra perioder som motsvarar 7,5 hp heltidsstudier vardera (enligt datumen nedan).
