Systemisk skleros, SSc, är en ovanlig reumatologisk sjukdom där immunologisk aktivering leder till kärlskada och fibros i hud och inre organ. Hälften av patienterna avlider av komplikationer från hjärta eller lungor, ofta fibros i lungor eller pulmonell arteriell hypertension (PAH).
