Avdelningen studentkommunikation och marknadsföring har följande ansvarsområden: nationell marknadsföring av utbildningar och studentrekrytering, marknadsföring för att stödja studentrekryteringen till universitetets internationella program, kommunikation med universitetets studenter samt allmänna studievägledningen.The Student Communication and Marketing unit has the following areas of responsibility: national marketing of courses and programmes and student recruitment, marketing to support student recruitment for the University’s international programmes, communication with the University’s students and general study guidance.

In this group we study how metastatic processes depend on suppression of the immune response and how the immune system actually instead promotes breast cancer metastasis. Our research is focused on the regulation of the complement system in health and disease. Complement is crucial part of innate immunity and thus protects host from infections and contributes to removal of dying cells. We study involvement of complement in pathology of rheumatic and inflammatory diseases as well as several types of cancer. Further, we investigate strategies developed by bacterial
