We propose a simple, general and computationally efficient algorithm for maximum likelihood estima- tion (MLE) of parameters in diffusion and jump-diffusion processes. This is conducted within a Monte Carlo EM-algorithm, where the smoothing distribution is computed using resampling. We present an approach to process scheduling based on an abstract graph representation which captures both data-flow and the flow of control. Target architectures consist of several processors, ASICs and shared busses. We have developed a heuristic which generates a schedule table so that the worst case delay is minimized. Several experiments demonstrate the efficiency of the approach.
A general approach to derive summation rules in electromagnetics using Herglotz functions is presented in this paper. This approach is then used to obtain summation rules and bounds on partial wave scattering, which are illustrated numerically by the scattering of a Drude sphere.

Sea turtle research at Tortuguero has been continuous since Dr. Archie Carr began studies in the 1950?s. This dissertation aims to clarify the Tortuguero sea turtles? post-nesting migrations, nesting trends and survival threats.
