In this paper, we propose the design of a roof-glass integrated microstrip antenna for vehicular SDARS tuners. The proposed microstrip antenna is sandwiched inside a multi-layer roof glass and uses a solar-heat reduction coating on the bottom side of the glass as ground plane.
