This study presents an approach for partitioned fluid-structure interaction (FSI) applied to large structural deformations, where an incompressible turbulent solver is combined with a structural solver. They were found during a visit July 9-16 2019 in large aggregations in a nature preserve in Åhus, eastern Scania. The habitat provides shelter, open sand and several flowers as nectar resources.
