Forskningsprojektet har tilldelats 2,2 miljoner SEK i forskningsmedel ur Besöksnäringens forsknings- och utvecklingsfond.  Projektet ska öka kunskapen om hur ett besöksmåls olika aktörer som hotell, handel och föreningar kan erbjuda en inkluderande vistelse för besökare med hund.
