Medicon Bridge är en samverkansplattform inom LTHs profilområde Teknik för Hälsa. Syftet med plattformen är att skapa, förenkla och underlätta samarbeten mellan vård, akademi och företag för att kunna ge patienter tillgång och nytta av ny medicinsk teknik. Institutionen för biomedicinsk teknik bildades 2014 och består av avdelningarna för biomedicinsk teknik, industriell elektroteknik och automation och teknisk geologi. Avdelningen för biomedicinsk teknik bildades genom en sammanslagning av ett flertal forskargrupper som alla arbetade inom flera olika biomedicinska fält.
