Denna uppsats syftar till att redogöra för lagstiftningsutvecklingen inom den svenska skiljemannarätten. Vidare ämnar uppsatsen utreda de bakomliggande faktorerna som motiverat och initierat lagstiftningsförändringar inom skilje-mannarätten historiskt.
