Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera och problematisera på vilket sätt den svenska regleringen av ersättning vid arbetsförbud av gravida arbetstagare inte uppfyller de krav på bibehållen lön eller skälig ersättning som följer av artikel 11.1 i mödraskyddsdirektivet 92/85/EEG.
