Arbetet går igenom de olika nya speltekniker som finns för flöjt och hur de noteras.This study is investigating what extended techniques for flute are and how they are being used. By analysing manuals of five different pieces written after 1950, an overview is presented of how different composers are using extended techniques for flute and what they think is important to explain for the performer.
