Previous research from Lund University has shown that diabetes can be divided into five groups with different disease progression. Teaterhögskolan i Malmö har 2019 utsett den internationellt framstående schweiziske regissören Milo Rau till ny hedersdoktor vid Konstnärliga fakulteten, Lunds Universitet. En högtidlig ceremoni ägde rum i Lunds domkyrka den 24 maj, 2019. I samband med sitt Sverigebesök fick Malmö även möjligheten att möta och höra Milo Rau under en helkväll i samtal med Björn Sandmark, VD för Göteborgs Stadsteate
