Phenomenology of Diffractive Higgs Production and Large Extra Dimensions

This thesis is based on phenomenological predictions for high energy particle collisions from two different theoretical models. The first two papers deal with uncertainties in exclusive reactions of type proton + proton -> proton + proton + Higgs.
