The Academic Support Centre

The Academic Support centre is a free service open to all students studying courses and programmes conducted in English and provide individual and group consultations (including feedback on texts), workshops, and seminars on topics in academic texts and the writing process, speaking and presentation skills, and reading and study skills. 

Open online courses on academic writing

Two MOOCs in academic writing have been developed at Lund University: Akademiskt skrivande (in Swedish) and Writing in English at University. All the lectures are freely available on Youtube. Access to all the course material is obtained by enrolling in the course on the Coursera platform. 

The AWELU platform (Academic Writing in English at Lund University) is an online resource for academic writing in English at Lund University. The platform is available for everybody who writes in English, students and staff, and focusses on grammar, spelling, structure, references, and the whole writing process.
