Syftet med arbetet är att analysera vilken effekt en könsojämlikhet i utbildningen har på den ekonomiska tillväxten. Eftersom Nepal var ett av de länder i världen som lyckades bäst med att jämna ut könsojämlikheten under milleniemålens tid utgör landet ett intressant fall.
