One Diagnosis or Two? Investigating Cognitive Overload and Stress in Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs

30 April 2026 13:00 to 14:00 | Seminar This seminar with Kim Klyver, University of Southern Denmark, is a part of the SKJCE seminar series. Moving beyond isolated diagnoses, this seminar applies cognitive load theory to examine the psychological reality of entrepreneurial multi-morbidity (ADHD and dyslexia). We will explore how these conditions differentially and together tax cognitive architectur

How does elevated atmospheric CO2 concentration affect vegetation productivity? : a study based on Free Air CO2 Enrichment (FACE) experiments and two generalised vegetation models

I denna studie har fokusen lagts på hur vegetatiIncreasing levels of CO2 in the atmosphere may substantially increase net primary productivity (NPP) and thereby increase carbon sequestration by terrestrial ecosystems. Realistic Free Air Carbon Enrichment (FACE) experiments tend to show a NPP enhancement of about 25% if CO2 is elevated by 200 ppm. In this study two generalized vegetation models, the Lund-Postsdam-Jena dynamic generalized vegetat

Played By the Machine: Everyday Struggles for Autonomy in the Age of Surveillance Capitalism

Shoshana Zuboff means that the world is increasingly defined by a new system of control she calls ‘surveillance capitalism’ – an emerging digital market in the business of mining, selling, modifying and predicting human behavior through digital surveillance. Concerns have been raised that this obfuscated but ubiquitous form of governance is detrimental for individual autonomy. This thesis aims to

Single-cell multiomics analysis of chronic myeloid leukemia links cellular heterogeneity to therapy response

The advent of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) as treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a paradigm in molecularly targeted cancer therapy. Nonetheless, TKI-insensitive leukemia stem cells (LSCs) persist in most patients even after years of treatment and are imperative for disease progression as well as recurrence during treatment-free remission (TFR). Here, we have generated high-resolut

Super-Size Me: An Unsuccessful Preregistered Replication of the Effect of Product Size on Status Signaling

Dubois, Rucker, and Galinsky (2012, Experiment 1) found that consumers view larger-size options as a signal of higher status. We conducted a close replication of this finding (N = 415), and observed a nonsignificant effect in the opposite direction (small vs. large product size: doriginal = 1.49, 95%CI [1.09, 1.89], dreplication = 0.09 95%CI [-0.15, 0.33]; medium vs. large: doriginal = 0.89 95%CI
