Den 11 och 12 december fattade styrelsen för naturvetenskapliga fakulteten och styrelsen för Lunds tekniska högskola (LTH) ett beslut om verksamheternas etablering i Science Village, och nästa steg i arbetet.Det beslut som båda fakultetsstyrelserna enades om bygger på förslag från verksamhetsstyrgruppen (VSG) och projektgruppen för Science Village Etapp 2. I mars i år fick LINXS en ny organisatorisk placering vid Naturvetenskapliga fakulteten. Istället för att vara en del av kemiska institutionen blir LINXS nu en egen enhet direkt under dekanen.
