Cześć! Dzień dobry! Jak się macie?

Prof. Urszula Ulla Chowaniec, lecturer in Polish language and literature at Lund University, invites you to a new informal Polish Language Club, starting on Monday, 21 September 2026.

We will meet every Monday at 18.00 on Zoom, from 21 September until 14 December 2026, for one hour of relaxed conversation in Polish.

And we are already making plans for 14 December: if there is interest, we would love to finish the term with an in-person Polish Language Club meeting at Lund University. More information will follow!

The club is for you if you already understand, read, or speak Polish at a basic level, if you sometimes speak Polish very well but need an informal group in which to practise, or if you simply want to learn something new and become more confident using the language.

The club is supported by NAWA, Polish Agency for Academic Exchange. 

Every week we will have a new topic: food, weather, animals, travel, everyday life, culture, and sometimes a little grammar. But what we talk about - and what we practise - will also be decided by you.

This is not a formal class. You can simply pop in, listen to Polish, speak a little or a lot, ask questions, practise vocabulary and expressions, and enjoy the language in a friendly and informal atmosphere.
