I am a doctoral student in General Linguistics at Lund University. My primary research interests focus on multimodal meaning-making. In my doctoral project, I am investigating the production and comprehension of irony within experimental settings. Furthermore, I am interested in various contexts of irony use, such as among members of the same or different social groups and within political discourse.

In addition to my primary research, I follow developments in Second Language Acquisition, drawing on my background in pedagogy and experience teaching English and Russian as second languages. I have several years of experience as a language instructor, having worked both in Sweden and abroad.
