Doctoral student in Hispanic Literature. I have an MA degree in Literature-Culture-Media with a specialization in Spanish Literature from Lund University (2021), an MFA degree in Creative Writing in Spanish from New York University (2015), and a BA in Literary Studies from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2010).
Broadly speaking, my research project examines the construction of the “global writer” figure in Hispanic novel from the first decades of the twenty-first century. Drawing on the theoretical framework of author studies (Meizoz, Maingueneau, Díaz, Zapata, etc.) and world literature, I analyse a corpus of novels published between 2010 and 2026 that stage “figurations” of the writer in which foreignness, errancy and uprootedness operate as critical dispositifs that unsettle traditional paradigms binding literature to a language and a nation.
