I am a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature, specialising in the modernist period. In my doctoral research, I look at the representation of animals in Scandinavian literature around the turn of the twentieth century. More specifically, I am interested in texts that howl, bark and chirp, and in what happens to the limits of language when other species are given a voice.
I hold a Master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Amsterdam (2025), as well as Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and German from Lund University (2021).
Research interests: scandinavian studies, animal studies, poetry, german philology, and philosophy.
In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
