As of September 2026, I am a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at the Centre for Languages and Literatures, Lund University. In my doctoral project, I examine the concept of the "face" as a category bound up with ethical, phenomenological, and aesthetic concerns. More specifically, the project extends this inquiry to animals, and turns to the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke in an attempt to rethink this concept beyond anthropometric norms.

I hold a Master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Amsterdam (2025), as well as Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and German from Lund University (2021).

Research interests: animal studies, poetry, history of ideas, and philosophy.
