I am professor of Swedish linguistics at Karlstad University: https://www.kau.se/en/researchers/henrik-rahm
My current research is primarily focused on three interdisciplinary projects on nuclear discourse: one on emergency preparedness one on communication and one on nuclear power and the society.
During 2026 I will work 10 % in the project Nils Holgersson, språket och didaktiken.
Together with Ingela Johansson (Lund University), Marianna Smaragdi (Lund University) and Carmen Sanchidrián Blanco (Málaga University) I plan a diachronic project on the influence of Selma Lagerlöf's book The Wonderful Adventures of Nils on education in Sweden, Spain and Greece. The perspectives emanate from discourse analysis, science of education, literary studies, didactics and linguistics.
I discourse analysis and text analysis and supervise bachelor and master theses. I also supervise doctoral students, two at Karlstad University and one at Lund University.
