Take your Ukrainian to the next level! This course deepens your grammar knowledge and sharpens your language skills for confident, precise communication in both speech and writing.
This course is for you who have taken UKRA11: Ukrainian Grammar and Language Proficiency I or have equivalent knowledge.
In this course, you will learn the core aspects of Ukrainian syntax. You will learn to recognize and explain key grammatical and lexical structures, read, retell, and translate authentic Ukrainian texts, and write short texts on specific topics.
You will build a vocabulary that supports everyday communication, learn to apply basic grammatical patterns in both speech and writing, and to use dictionaries and other reference sources effectively. You will also learn to apply cultural and extralinguistic knowledge. Finally, you will analyse, discuss, and critically reflect on linguistic and cultural norms.
