The course is structured in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The teaching aims to provide the students with the knowledge and skills required to achieve language proficiency in Swedish equivalent to level B1. In parallel with proficiency training, it provides an overview of the distinctive features of the grammatical and phonetic systems of Swedish. Furthermore, the course provides extended knowledge of Swedish culture and society. The text study is focused on building up a general word and phrase supply.
