Course
Course 7.5 credits • ENGD03
The course offers space for in-depth study, academic discussion, and independent development—allowing you to shape your education according to your own academic interests.
ENGD03 is taken during the third semester of the Bachelor’s Programme in English and is taught entirely in English. The course is offered at intermediate level and requires at least 60 credits in English at undergraduate level. It may be included in a general degree at both undergraduate and advanced level, but is normally not offered as a freestanding course and is therefore only open to students admitted to the Bachelor’s Programme in English.
The core focus of the course is advanced study. You will choose a specific area within English language or literature and undertake more specialised and in-depth academic work. The aim is to develop both your subject-specific knowledge and your ability to communicate in correct, idiomatic, and academic English, both orally and in writing.
