This is a study of how children in the US can participate in the assessment that is connected to them. My purpose was to study how children´s voice and children´s participation were considered in childcare assessments and how social workers thought about the best interest of the child. This is mostly studied through the plans used to assess the treatment for the child. My questions at issue were;
