The course provides students with advanced written and oral language proficiency and specialised knowledge of the Italian language, Italian literature and Italian society, culture and history. Major emphasis is placed on the study and comprehension of texts. The course is more focused on knowledge of language and literature than the previous level and introduces research methodology.
