Kursen ger utrymme för studiet av både storskaliga produktioner och lågbudgetalternativ; här återfinns dokumentärer sida vid sida med resor i fantasin, men alltid med de europeiska geopolitiska oHow has European history and culture been depicted in film and television? This course explores such questions through a focus on the adaptation of literary works and historical events into captivating screen narratives. A variety of forms and genres – ranging from documentaries to large-scale epics – are analysed and discussed within the context of European geopolitical and cultural conditions.
