Highly deformed rotational structures in 136Pm

Four highly deformed structures in the odd-odd nucleus 13661Pm75 were observed via the 105Pd(35Cl,2p2n) reaction at 180 and 173 MeV using the GAMMASPHERE γ-ray spectrometer and the Microball charged-particle detector array. Quadrupole moment measurements were performed on all of the bands. In contrast to lighter odd-Ζ Pm and Pr nuclei, bands based on the g9/2[404]9/2 proton orbital were not observ

Archaeological Interactive Report : AIR

Archaeological investigations are by their nature destructive activities. Data documentation is the most important task not to lose the information collected, the interpretations performed and the new knowledge obtained. The Archaeological Interactive Report -AIR is a web platform that provides archaeologists with the tools for documentation, long-term archival, management, visualization, and publ

Marknadens tid satte stora avtryck i svensk politiThis timely edited volume gather’s a number of Sweden’s leading historians who specialize on the profound transformations of the late 20th Century. Each chapter starts from an image, and at the center is the “market turn” – a multifaceted, but at the same time distinct historical process through which the market as an institution, an ideal, and a metaphor has become a focal point of social life. H

Ta din tid : Gör mindre men bättre

Sum rules and physical bounds for a particulate slab --- transmission

Two different sum rules for transmission of the coherent electromagnetic field by a particulate slab are established. The particles are assumed spherical and randomly located, and the slab is illuminated by a plane wave at normal incidence. These sum rules are obtained assuming the particles are passive scatterers, and satisfy energy conservation and causality conditions. The sum rules are then emTwo different sum rules for transmission of the coherent electromagnetic fieldby a particulate slab are established. What happened in the hinterland? : A batch study of early bucket-shaped pots from the 4th and 5th centuries AD in Southwest Norway.

Rogaland in southwest Norway was a core production area for bucket-shaped pottery throughout the ca. 200-year period spanned by these finds. Largely thanks to Elna Siv Kristoffersen's work we have a well-developed understanding of the final century of this characteristic Migration Period find: certain ceramic craft networks rose to prominence, culminating in workshop milieux intimately tied to the

Single-cell analysis of immune recognition in chronic myeloid leukemia patients following tyrosine kinase inhibitor discontinuation

Immunological control of residual leukemia cells is thought to occur in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) that maintain treatment-free remission (TFR) following tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) discontinuation. To study this, we analyzed 55 single-cell RNA and T cell receptor (TCR) sequenced samples (scRNA+TCRαβ-seq) from patients with CML (n = 13, N = 25), other cancers (n = 28), and he

Chicumbane Connections: Lower Limpopo Valley During the First Millennium AD.

Abstract The discussion of the transition to farming in southern Africa and the formation of Early Iron Age society, referred to in Mozambican archaeology as the Early Farming Communities (EFC), is complicated by the lack of surveys in key areas of intensive contacts. This article presents the results of excavations at the EFC site Chicumbane in the eastern lower Limpopo Valley, dated 500–800 AD.
