Serine synthesis disorders
The serine synthesis pathway comprises three steps, and genetic defects are known in each of these: 3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase deficiency, phosphoserine aminotransferase deficiency and 3-phosphoserine phosphatase deficiency.
