The Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology | Lund University

I have taught at Lund since 1993 and received my PhD from LU in 2001. Since 2004, I am an associate professor (docent/universitetslektor) in film studies at the Centre for Languages and Literature. During the last few years my research activities has dealt with queries located at the intersection between several scholarly fields, including Swedish and Scandinavian film history, film production studies, economics, critical film policy review and regional development.

About the research

My current research is focused in areas such as the historiography of screen media industries, critical perspectives in media industries research, contemporary film- and TV-production and film and media policy, including European and Scandinavian regulations of the audiovisual sector. In the past I have studied film criticism, television serials and, a tiny bit, the relationship between porn and mainstream film.
