I have been a senior lecturer in Spanish since January 2018. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mexican literature from the University Autónoma de Baja California Sur and a PhD in applied linguistics in Spanish as a second language, from the university Antonio de Nebrija. My dissertation (2015) focused on Dificultades en el uso de los tiempos del pasado imperfecto / indefinido con verbos estativos y de logro por estudiantes suecos de español como lengua extranjera con level A2, B1 y B2.
At SOL I teach at various courses, such as the preparatory course, Spanish grammar with exercises and Spanish linguistics. Currently I teach Latin American and Spanish history. I am also a supervisor for students on the teacher program from Lund University who do their VFU. At the same time, I participate in educational projects for future teachers in Spanish as a foreign language at the upper secondary school and university.
