Course 7.5 credits • NODB04

The course deals with Danish grammar and grammatical problems which occur in connection with the texts produced by the student him/herself. Various contemporary genres of text are analysed. The student practices his/her ability to write in Danish and analyse and evaluate his/her own texts and those of others in relation to grammar, genre, style and composition. The characteristics of a good text and how it is written are dealt with in theory and practice. Various genres are presented and texts are discussed from grammatical, stylistic and compositional perspectives. The student is required to write texts from a wide range of genres, for example news articles, essays, letters of application, and stories.
