Gaining legitimacy in contemporary world
This article investigates the links between environmental and social activities of organisations and organisational legitimacy. The recent overemphasis on the business case for voluntary environmental and socialactivities of organisations is undermining the attention to other drivers such as legitimacy concerns. Previous literature has discussed how the principle of legitimacy may underpin corpora

A unified view of systems
A unified view of systems is suggested which relates to both model theory and relational databases. The approach towards a unified view is here centered around viewing a system as a structure of the form S = < A, R > putting focus on the relational aspects of the system concept. This is motivated by some examples of various systems which are shown to fit into the proposed unification.

Utmaning: kunskapens slut?
The effect of genome length on ejection forces in bacteriophage lambda.
A variety of viruses tightly pack their genetic material into protein capsids that are barely large enough to enclose the genome. In particular, in bacteriophages, forces as high as 60 pN are encountered during packaging and ejection, produced by DNA bending elasticity and self-interactions. The high forces are believed to be important for the ejection process, though the extent of their involveme

Psychoanalytic Conceptions of the Mind in Drug Abusers : Methods Exploring Personality Disorders, Traits, and Defense Mechanisms
The purpose of the present thesis was to explore the theoretical and clinical implications of personality disorders (PDs), personality traits, and defense mechanisms in drug abusers diagnosed with psychosis and PDs. The prospect was, via four empirical studies and one paper of discussing methodology, to increase the psychodynamic understanding, which might improve the precision in planning treatme
Calibration of a Dynamic Model of a Full Scale Wastewater Treatment Plant for Prediction of the Potentials of Combined In-line Hydrolysis with Predenitrification
Abstract in UndeterminedCombining sludge hydrolysis with predenitrification is a promising method to remove nitrogen and decreased use of external carbon content in wastewater. The Klagshamn wastewater treatment plant plans to alter the primary settler into an in-line hydrolysis basin with subsequent predenitrification to reduce the nitrate load into the overstrained moving-bed biofilm reactor. A
Implementation of a Novel Architecture for DFT-based Channel Estimators in OFDM Systems
A new architecture for Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) based channel estimation has been analyzed, implemented and synthesized for ASIC. The core concept of the proposed esti- mation algorithm is to process the channel increments rather than the channel coefficients. With strong enough time correlation, we can reduce the wordlength of processing blocks compared to standard channel estimators and
Hydrolytic and oxidative catalytic activities of bio-inspired dinuclear metal complexes
Denna del av enzymet kallas dess aktiA number of homo- and heterodinuclear complexes have been synthesized as structural and functional models for the the active sites of phosphoesterases and soluble methane monooxygenases. The complexes are based on four new dinucleating ligands containing a central, potentially bridging, phenolate moiety. The hydrolytic activity of the complexes was examined by exploring the ability of the complexe
