I have av Phd in Cultural History of Eastern and Central Europe and work as a lecturer of European studies. I am also acting coordinator for the Bachelor Program in European Studies with a humanist profile.
I am an ethnographic researcher with a particular interest in memories, life stories and the practices of everyday life. In my dissertation, I investigated mnemonic processes in the former socialist model town of Nowa Huta, Poland. In my future research I hope to study solidarity as an idea and practice in East Central Europe after 1989, focusing on queer and urban movements in present day Poland.
