European Culture and History in Film and Television
Course content
How has European history and culture been depicted in film and television? This course explores such questions through a focus on the adaptation of literary works and historical events into captivating screen narratives. A variety of forms and genres – ranging from documentaries to large-scale epics – are analysed and discussed within the context of European geopolitical and cultural conditions.
Description
The course is given entirely in English. Lectures are held via ZOOM and much of the information and content is provided through the Canvas learning platform.
