Post-doctoral researcher, Lund University
I received my PhD in General Linguistics from the University of Leiden (Netherlands) in 2011, with a grammar of Makalero, a Papuan language of East Timor. Prior to that, I completed my MA at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). The focus of my work so far has been on field-based grammaticography with a typological background. I am working now as a research fellow in the LACOLA project, where my main focus is on landscape categorization in the Papuan languages of Eastern Timor (particularly Makalero) as well as some Swiss German (High Alemannic) dialects.
