MA Thesis Defense Day 1
Welcome to the first (ever) MA Thesis Defense Day to be held within the MA Program for Language and Linguistics, aka Språkmastern. We are very happy that this new model was worked well, as we will have five thesis defenses on Friday, according to the program below. (And more on June 5, to be announced tomorrow). The schema is: 20 min for the student summarizing their work (audio-visually), 20 min for the opposition and 20 min for questions from the examiner, and the audience. The supervisors are asked to serve as chairpersons. Presenters/defenders: please come to the room 10 minutes in advance to make sure the technology works! Then there will be a break, during which supervisor, examiner and coordinator will convene and discuss the grade. Please see the defense versions (there will inevitably modifications in the final versions) below!
