Courses Spring 2021
Below you find a list of courses in Central and Eastern European Studies for the spring of 2021. The courses are independent, but you may very well apply for and take all the courses during the same semester. Taking all three courses corresponds to one semester of full-time studies. Deadline for applications is October 15.
Focus on Central Europe:
The course studies the political development in Central Europe during the 20th century, with a focus on nationalism and communism.
Part time (50%), 2021-01-18 - 2021-03-23
The course studies the political development of Central Europe after the fall of communism until today.
Part time (50%), 2021-03-24 - 2021-06-06
Focus on Eastern Europe:
During the course you will learn about the development in Russia, Ukraine and other post-Soviet states after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, with emphasis on politics, identity and culture.
Part time (50%), 2021-01-18 – 2021-06-06 (language of instruction is Swedish)
