Course
Course 7.5 credits • LIND07
Explore how we understand, produce, and learn language. This course introduces you to the fascinating world of psycholinguistics – where language meets the mind.
How does language work? In this course, you’ll explore the key areas of psycholinguistics, including how we produce and understand language, how we learn it, and how our brains process it. You’ll also learn about what happens when language development is disrupted.
We’ll introduce you to the history of psycholinguistics, current theories, and how researchers study language and the mind. You’ll also get to know related fields like memory research, cognitive science, and neurolinguistics.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid foundation in psycholinguistics and be ready to explore its different areas in more depth in future studies.
