Queen Christina's autobiography

The aim of the project is to produce an edition of Queen Christina's autobiography.There are several manuscript versions of the autobiography,Histoire de la Reyne Christine, faite par elle mesme, dediee a Dieu from 1681.The text edited by me includes several unknown and interesting statements by the queen on women and femininity and on her own masculinity.The edition will be published in 2014.

The project The literary works of Queen Christina is financed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities. Eva Haettner Aurelius is editing the autobiography Histoire de la Reyne Christine, faite par elle mesme, dediee a Dieu.
