I am a PhD candidate in "Italian Studies" at the Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund University. My research takes an experimental approach to the study of first language attrition among Italian late-bilinguals. I am interested in language attrition, bilingualism, second-language acquisition and cognitive approaches to the study of language. I received a master's degree in Linguistics after studying at the University of Rome "Sapienza". During my studies, I explored several methodologies and approaches to language analysis by attending workshops and conferences in statistics, computational linguistics, automatic text analysis, methods and models of text mining. Moreover, I participated to the academic project Web2Corpus_IT. At Lund University I joined PhD-level courses in eye-tracking methodology, ERP (event-related potential) technique and experimental design.
